Crane topples at demolition site of old bridge in Hakaniemi, Finland

A vehicle crane has toppled over at the demolition site of the old bridge in Hakaniemi. Jaakko Rekola, the production manager from the Kruunusillat alliance, reported that the crane fell onto the bridge that is being dismantled.

As a result, work at the site will need to be halted until the area is cleared and assessed. The crane had been used to lift components that were being removed from the site. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, but fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
