Elisa installs new mobile phone tower in Janakkala after vandalism incident

Telecommunications operator Elisa has erected a new mobile phone tower in Janakkala, replacing the one that was recently damaged. The tower is now in place, but technical equipment is still being installed. Elisa aims to have the tower operational by Friday. Any connectivity issues that customers in the surrounding area have experienced will be resolved once the new tower is active. The previous tower was compromised at the end of July when an individual cut its supporting cable. The police are investigating the incident as aggravated vandalism and severe disruption of telecommunications.
