Finnish media group Rebl Group has concluded change negotiations that will eliminate 29 positions, Yle reports. The company said 19 employees would be offered new roles.
About 530 employees were covered by the negotiations, which began in late August. Some employees in the printing business will be furloughed for between 30 and 90 days by the end of 2027. If demand weakens, Rebl Group is prepared to furlough other staff for up to 90 days by the end of next year.
The group is also seeking savings by changing key terms of employment and outsourcing work. It estimates that the measures will generate annual savings of just over 500,000 euros and savings of about 1.3 million euros in 2027.
Rebl Group operates in 12 locations in Finland, with its headquarters in Joensuu. Its revenue was 108 million euros last year.
