Police stop driver drifting in a roundabout
Police intervened after a driver was seen drifting in a roundabout, mbl.is reported, citing the Capital Area Police log. The driver admitted guilt, and officers dealt with the case at the scene by filing an incident report.
Police also received a report of a person in an altered state walking along a road and disrupting traffic in downtown Hafnarfjörður. The person was driven home. A shop theft was reported in the same neighborhood and handled through normal procedures.
In Breiðholt, a neighborhood, police were asked to remove people who had entered a rubbish storage area without permission. Officers also stopped three drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
The incidents were among those recorded between 5 p.m. yesterday and 5 a.m. this morning.
