Work vehicle collision closes southbound Kringlumýrarbraut

A work vehicle struck the Bústaðavegur bridge earlier on Monday, closing southbound traffic on Kringlumýrarbraut, mbl.is reported. Vísir was the first to report the incident.

The closure caused heavy traffic in the area. No one was injured, and traffic was diverted through Hlíðarnar past Suðurver.

Police and Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration staff were at the scene.
