Sunda Municipality could face an additional bill of three to six million kroner after failing to follow the building inspectorate’s advice on its latest land subdivision, KVF reports.
The building inspectorate did not receive the documents it needed to carry out the required oversight. The municipality chose to take on all the risk if something went wrong, and KVF reports that problems did occur.
Sunda is known for selling inexpensive building plots, which has attracted many people to settle in the municipality. The latest subdivision could prove a costly lesson.
