Apple Festival returns to Sandur, Faroe Islands on September 28

The Apple Festival will take place again in Sandur on September 28. The festival has been absent in recent years, with the last event held in 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020.

This year, the festival is back on the agenda. Typically, the event features a variety of vegetables and pop-up food stalls, along with other attractions.

The Apple Festival in Sandur was first held in 2015. In 2017, the youth team from Kringvarp Føroya, known as Røddin, visited the Apple Festival, resulting in a video clip that can now be found on Røddin’s YouTube channel.
