Two substitutes take seats in Faroese parliament

Two substitute members took seats in the Faroese parliament on Tuesday, KVF reported.
Beinta Løwe has replaced Ruth Vang of Framsókn, who is taking leave. Løwe was next on the party’s list and received 245 votes in the most recent parliamentary election.
Vang will announce when she returns to parliament.
Helgi Abrahamsen of Sambandsflokkurin is attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Haraldur Símunarson Hammer, who was next on the party’s list, has taken his seat.
Hammer received 198 votes in the parliamentary election on March 26.
