Drivers can now check traffic offence points online

Individuals can now access information about penalty points for traffic offences and driving licence suspensions through their personal pages on Ísland.is, mbl.is reports, citing the police website.

The information is available under “Laws and regulations” on the personal pages. Users can see when an offence occurred, what type of offence it was, how many points it carries and when the points expire.

People whose driving rights have been suspended can also view the suspension period and information about reinstatement of their driving rights.
