Seven drivers apprehended for driving under influence in Norway over weekend

Over the weekend, the police apprehended seven drivers suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, two individuals were caught driving while influenced by drugs.

This trend has become increasingly noticeable to law enforcement during traffic checks. Three people were also arrested for having illegal substances in their possession.

While the police have not explicitly linked these incidents to the Summer Festival held over the weekend, they have acknowledged that the festival resulted in a high volume of police activity.
