Deep low-pressure system brings significant weather changes to Iceland
A deep low-pressure system is approaching Iceland from the south, bringing significant weather changes. Rain is expected to start in the northeastern regions, potentially becoming heavy, while a strong southeast wind will develop later in the day. A yellow weather alert is currently in effect for this area.
In the East Fjords, considerable rainfall is anticipated, although the western parts of the country will not see rain until later in the evening. Tomorrow, the low-pressure system will move northward across the country and then shift to a westerly direction, with wind speeds generally ranging from 5 to 13 meters per second.
Light precipitation is expected in various locations, particularly lighter in the northeast. Temperatures will vary between 8 to 16 degrees Celsius, with the warmest temperatures predicted in the northeastern regions.
