Person trapped under tram in Helsinki’s Kaisaniemi district

A person was trapped under a tram in Helsinki’s Kaisaniemi district on Monday morning, Yle reported.

Helsinki Regional Transport Authority HSL said the accident happened at about 8.30am.

Trams were temporarily diverted because of the accident, but services through Kaisaniemi have now returned to normal.

No further details about the accident were immediately available.
