Pedestrian dies after car hits him in Tampere

Yle reports that a pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Epilä, a district of Tampere.

The pedestrian died at the scene. Police said he was an adult. No one else was injured in the accident.

The driver is suspected of causing death and aggravated endangerment of traffic safety, the Inner Finland Police Department said.
