It is unusual for a coalition to support an opposition proposal in the Faroese parliament, according to KVF, which is examining whether this reflects an unhealthy political culture.
Erhard Joensen, a member of parliament for the Union Party and part of the current coalition, has described the practice as unhealthy. Last week, he joined the coalition in voting down an opposition proposal, even though he considered it a good one.
The programme will ask whether the parliament has always operated this way and what could be done to change it.
Former parliament speaker Bjørt Samuelsen and political scientist Hallur av Rana will join the discussion on KVF’s radio programme Breddin, which airs at 10am.
