Rescue helicopter takes two people to hospital on Sunday

KVF reports that Atlantic Helicopters’ rescue helicopter was called out twice on Sunday afternoon to transport people to the National Hospital.

On the first call, the helicopter went to a mountaineer in the valleys of Vestmanna, who had chest pain.

About an hour later, it was dispatched for a foreign national who had fallen in the mountains above Kambsdalur.
