Sweden’s Supreme Court has rejected Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s appeal in a long-running rental dispute, SVT reports.
The country’s highest court decided on Monday that there were no grounds to hear the former football star’s appeal, according to Expressen.
Ibrahimovic bought a rental building in Stockholm’s Östermalm district several years ago and became involved in a dispute with a tenant. The tenant, who rented the apartment through an intermediary, was given notice but refused to move out.
Stockholm District Court ruled in November 2024 that the tenant had the right to remain in the apartment. The Svea Court of Appeal reached the same conclusion in February.
