After a campaign marked by sharp attacks between parties, it may be time to put differences aside once voters have cast their ballots, SVT domestic politics commentator Mats Knutson writes.
Jimmie Åkesson has attacked both Ebba Busch and the Liberals, while Busch has criticised the Moderates and the Sweden Democrats. On the red-green side, the Centre Party and the Left Party have clashed, and Magdalena Andersson has more or less explicitly rejected the Left Party as a governing party.
Knutson says the parties may need to bury the hatchet once the election is over. His analysis focuses on what awaits the winning side as the process of forming a government begins.
