SVT shows hosts preparing for election debates

SVT takes viewers behind the scenes as presenters Fouad Youcefi and Elisabeth Marmorstein prepare to host the 2026 election broadcasts.

The pair will lead both the prime minister meeting and the final debate, where all party leaders will take part. In a live broadcast from Gasklockorna in Gävle, prime minister candidates Ulf Kristersson of the Moderate Party and Magdalena Andersson of the Social Democratic Party answered questions from voters ahead of the election.

The feature follows Youcefi and Marmorstein from makeup to rehearsals for the interviews with Sweden’s leading politicians. It also looks at how the presenters work together behind the scenes and what is required to appear on screen.
