Finnish Defence Forces to join more than 130 international exercises

The Finnish Defence Forces will take part in more than 130 international exercises next year, Yle reported, citing Defence Minister Antti Häkkänen.

The exercises will be held in Finland and abroad, according to the Defence Ministry.

Häkkänen said exercises linked to NATO’s permanent presence will be emphasised next year. NATO’s land forces command will be established in Mikkeli, while a NATO forward land force will be stationed in Lapland.
