Seismic activity continues to increase on the Reykjanes Peninsula, with approximately 40 earthquakes recorded near the Sundhnúkur craters since midnight. In total, around 70 quakes have been detected in the past 24 hours. Although these earthquakes are minor, experts from the Icelandic Meteorological Office warn that significant developments could occur quickly.
