Weather forecast predicts mild conditions for Southern Iceland today

Today, the weather in Southern Iceland is expected to be mild. There will be a northwest wind blowing at speeds of 5 to 13 meters per second, turning to lighter winds in the northeastern parts by midday. The skies will be partly cloudy with little precipitation expected; however, there may be light rain in the western regions and the north at the start of the day. There is also a chance of isolated afternoon showers inland. Temperatures will range from 7 to 16 degrees Celsius, with the warmest conditions expected in the southern areas.

For tomorrow, a southeasterly or variable wind direction is forecasted, ranging from 3 to 8 meters per second. The weather will continue to be partly cloudy with scattered showers expected, particularly during the afternoon. Maximum temperatures will be between 8 and 15 degrees Celsius.
