Low pressure brings rain and shifting winds across the country

Low-pressure activity near the country is expected to bring changeable winds and wet weather over the next few days, mbl.is reports.

Southerly winds of 3 to 10 metres per second are forecast today, with generally wet conditions, particularly in the south and west. Temperatures will range from 9 to 16 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperatures in the north and east.

Tomorrow, southwesterly winds of 5 to 13 metres per second and showers are expected, while conditions will become drier in the east. Temperatures will range from 7 to 13 degrees, with the lowest temperatures in the Westfjords.

Winds will turn northwesterly in the northern part of the country tomorrow evening, bringing rain or sleet and falling temperatures.
