Bus production begins at Valmet Automotive factory

Bus production has begun at Valmet Automotive’s factory in Uusikaupunki, with the first buses expected to be completed this year, Yle reports.

Production includes both diesel and electric buses. Valmet Automotive is responsible for body construction, painting and final assembly.

Valmet Automotive and Carrus Delta announced in April that they would begin long-term cooperation on series production of buses at the Uusikaupunki factory.
