Three companies providing Flextrafik services on Funen and in Jutland have halted operations, DR reports. HA Logistik, Flex Fyn and Flex Syd are part of a business group criticised in the Kontant programme “The Funen Flex Kings”.
Jørn Hedengran, a negotiating secretary at the trade union 3F, said drivers working for the companies had been told not to report to work the following day and to hand in their vehicles.
“We have received identical messages from all three companies,” he told DR News.
The companies stopped operating five days after another group company, LS Busser, halted its services.
LS Busser stopped after its operating capital was seized by Funen Police, leaving the company without money to pay wages, among other expenses. The three other companies cited the same problem in messages seen by DR News.
“The situation is due to the company currently being unable to pay wages or make other payments because it does not have access to its bank account and funds have been withheld,” the messages said.
The companies did not state the specific reason why the funds had been seized.
3F filed for LS Busser’s bankruptcy the day after it halted operations. Hedengran said the union was also preparing bankruptcy petitions against HA Logistik, Flex Fyn and Flex Syd.
In the Kontant programme “The Funen Flex Kings”, three drivers, two former and one then-current, described alleged fraud and dangerous conditions for passengers. The programme is available on DRTV.
