Fire reported at Tiiliruuki sorting station in Pori

A major fire alarm was raised at the Tiiliruuki sorting station in Pori on Friday before 5 PM. The station, known as Keräämö, experienced a fire that broke out in a container designated for electronic waste. According to Kari Kankaanpää, the duty fire chief from the Satakunta Rescue Service, the fire was quickly extinguished, preventing it from spreading further.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Currently, rescue services are engaged in cleanup efforts at the scene. Further updates are expected as the situation develops.
