OAJ issues fourth strike warning for six Finnish universities of applied sciences

OAJ has issued a new strike warning affecting six Finnish universities of applied sciences, Yle reported on Monday.

The three-day strike is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 22, and continue through Thursday, September 24, unless the labour dispute is resolved before then.

The institutions named are Haaga-Helia, Häme, Jyväskylä, Tampere, Turku and Laurea universities of applied sciences.

OAJ issued the warning on Monday, making it the fourth strike warning in the education sector this autumn. A three-day strike was held at the beginning of September. The next strike is scheduled for September 7 to 9, while another strike warning covers September 15 to 17.
