Cost per primary school student rose 12% in 2025

The estimated annual average operating cost per student in primary schools rose 2.2% from August to September, mbl.is reported, citing a brief notice from Statistics Iceland.

The annual average operating cost per student in 2025 was 3,356,177 Icelandic krónur.

That was a 12% increase from the previous year.
