Stone hits car on Køge Bugt motorway

A 42-year-old woman was driving on the Køge Bugt motorway on Sunday afternoon when a stone hit her windscreen, DR reported, citing the Mid and West Zealand Police daily report.

The woman, who is from Greve, was not injured. She told police that the stone was about the size of a tennis ball.

The stone came from above as she drove beneath a pedestrian bridge, but she did not see anyone on the bridge, police said.

Other cars hit by stones

On Sunday 30 September, a car was hit by a stone on the Amager motorway near the Avedøre Holme exit. Another car was hit on Wednesday 2 September.

Copenhagen West Police told Ritzau on Friday that they were investigating the two incidents as deliberate acts involving possible stone throwing from a motorway bridge.
