Seven taken to hospital after car hits lamppost

Seven people were taken to hospital after a vehicle hit a lamppost near an Olís petrol station in Norðlingaholt on Friday evening, mbl.is reports.

Lárus Steindór Björnsson, a police station supervisor with the Capital Region Police, said the group consisted of a driver and six passengers.

None of them was seriously injured. Björnsson said he did not have information on whether the vehicle was a passenger car.
