Police are continuing to investigate a traffic accident in Copenhagen in which a 65-year-old motorist died, Danish broadcaster DR reports.
The crash happened yesterday at the junction of Østerbrogade and Strandboulevarden. It involved a 74-year-old man in a car who hit a female cyclist, at least two other cyclists and several parked cars.
Police said they are working on the theory that the driver became unwell. He was subsequently admitted to hospital and was in life-threatening condition, according to a post on the police messaging service.
The two other cyclists suffered only minor injuries.
