KVF reports that the threat level in the Faroe Islands remains unchanged and is still more limited than in Denmark.
Bárður á Steig Nielsen, the minister for foreign affairs and fisheries, said the latest hybrid attacks in Denmark appeared to have targeted companies that manufacture military equipment.
He acknowledged, however, that incidents linked to hybrid warfare were moving closer and that the world had become less secure than it was during the first many years after the Cold War.
The security situation will also be discussed at a meeting of the Cooperation Council in the Danish Realm in Nuuk next week, Nielsen said.
