Farmers protest as parliament tightens nitrogen rules

Farmers have protested on roads across the country this week after parliament passed a new fertiliser law tightening rules on nitrogen emissions, DR News reports.

The Debate programme will examine whether the measures are too harsh on agriculture or necessary to protect the environment. Host Clement Kjersgaard will put the question to the panel tonight.
