Gunnar Dan describes ayahuasca ceremony and DMT book

Writer Gunnar Dan has described his first ayahuasca ceremony and the effects of the drink in an interview with mbl.is programme Dagmál.

He said he took part in the ceremony this summer. It involved a shaman or guru from a distant country, a concoction made from unfamiliar ingredients, a lengthy ritual and a blessing of the drink.

One of the ingredients was DMT, or dimethyltryptamine. Gunnar devotes an entire chapter to the substance in his newly published book UFO202, a standalone continuation of his earlier book UFO101 about flying objects and other paranormal phenomena.

Gunnar said the world described in those books is closely connected to discussions about mind expanding substances.
