Boys warned by police after playing on roof of elementary school in Kópavogur
Police recently intervened when they received reports of boys playing on the roof of an elementary school. The incident was detailed in the police log, which outlines their activities from 5 PM yesterday to 5 AM this morning. Officers from Station 3, responsible for Kópavogur and Breiðholt areas, arrived at the scene and spoke with the boys about the dangers of playing on rooftops.
According to the police log, the night was relatively calm overall. In a separate incident, there was a report of theft in a grocery store in Reykjavík, which was addressed on-site. Additionally, several drivers were stopped on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Those individuals were taken to the appropriate police station as per standard procedure.
