Farmers plan tractor protest in Copenhagen over nitrogen rules

Farmers plan to demonstrate outside Christiansborg in Copenhagen on Tuesday, with up to 2,000 farmers and other participants expected to attend alongside 300 tractors, DR reports.

The farmers are particularly dissatisfied with new nitrogen regulations.

The protest follows a large meeting held by Agriculture and Food Denmark in Odense on Monday to discuss the consequences of the government’s agricultural policies.
