Three young people die in Krýsuvíkurvegur road crash

Three young people died after a car crashed on Krýsuvíkurvegur road near Bláfjallavegur overnight, mbl.is reported.

Police received the report at 12.19am. The victims, one young man and two young women, were all travelling in the same car when it left the road while heading south on Krýsuvíkurvegur.

Police in the capital area and the Transport Accident Investigation Board are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

The crash is the deadliest in the country since December 2018.
