Police identify man found dead after Kuopio garage fire

Eastern Finland Police have identified the man found dead in a fire-destroyed garage in Kuopio, Yle reports.

The man was found inside a passenger car in the garage during firefighting operations.

A garage and a motorhome burned last Wednesday in Pihkainmäki, Kuopio.

Police are investigating whether the man was involved in starting the fires. The case is being investigated as destruction of property and as a death-cause inquiry.

Police said they would not provide further details about the case or the people connected to it for investigative reasons.
