SVT opens chat ahead of election climate debate

SVT is inviting readers to submit questions about climate policy ahead of Sunday evening’s televised debate, which will feature representatives from all eight parties in the Swedish parliament.

Readers can chat with SVT political reporter Julia Lindvall, who focuses particularly on climate policy, from noon. The debate is the second in a series ahead of the 2026 election.

The programme will be hosted by Tomas Nordenskiöld and begin at 9.15pm, with a panel commenting on the discussion. A debate on migration is scheduled for 6 September.
