Yes vote wins Reykjavik North as final figures narrow margin

The yes vote won in Reykjavik North, with the final figures showing 57.5% in favour and 42.5% against, mbl.is reported.

A total of 22,266 voters supported yes, while 16,448 voted no. There were 165 blank ballots and 124 invalid ballots.

Of the 48,334 registered voters in the constituency, 39,003 ballots were counted, giving a turnout of 80.7%.

The no vote gained 1.5 percentage points in the final count, rising from 41% in earlier figures to 42.5%. The yes vote fell by the same amount, from 59% to 57.5%.
