Mild weather expected across Iceland on election day
mbl.is reports that mild, calm weather is expected across Iceland on election day tomorrow, with generally light winds forecast over the weekend.
According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, temperatures will be highest in southwest Iceland, reaching 12 to 16°C. Winds will be fairly light, and skies will be cloudy in many areas, with occasional sunny spells possible.
Eastern Iceland can expect occasional showers and temperatures of around 12°C, with generally light winds. Overnight frost is expected in southern Iceland tonight and possibly elsewhere.
