Anti-EU campaigners place “NO” flags along Reykjavík roads

Opponents of Iceland’s membership of the European Union have placed flags bearing the word “NO” along busy roads in Reykjavík, mbl.is reports.

The flags were put up at around 3 p.m. on Friday, when traffic in the city usually increases.

According to mbl.is, the flags can be seen along Miklabraut, Kringlumýrarbraut, Bústaðavegur and elsewhere. Drivers travelling through the capital area are likely to notice the message.
