HUS restores phone services after disruption

HUS has restored its phone services after a disruption that affected dozens of numbers, Yle reported. HUS said the problem was fixed at 10.30 p.m.

The disruption affected services including the Emergency Helpline, the Poison Information Centre, the maternity phone service and the numbers of several appointment booking services. Not all calls went through, and the callback service was not working.

HUS said the disruption was caused by a fault in its disk system. Based on current information, it did not cause serious problems for patient care or safety.
