HUS phone services hit by widespread disruption

Several phone services operated by HUS are experiencing a widespread disruption, Yle reports. Not all calls are getting through, and the callback function is not working.

According to HUS, the disruption affects dozens of service numbers, including the Medical Helpline, the Poison Information Centre and phone services for maternity patients.

If a call does not go through or the queue is exceptionally long, HUS advises callers to try again.

In urgent situations, people should go directly to an emergency department or call the emergency number 112.
