Police investigate three domestic violence cases

Police are investigating three cases linked to domestic violence, mbl.is reports, according to police logs covering incidents from 5pm Wednesday to 5am Thursday.

One person was arrested by police on Hverfisgata in connection with a domestic violence investigation. A woman was also held in a police cell after refusing to pay a restaurant bill.

Police in Hafnarfjörður and Garðabær are investigating another domestic violence case.

Police in Kópavogur and Breiðholt intervened after a group of young people caused trouble, including throwing rocks.

Police on Vínlandsleið are investigating a third domestic violence case. Officers also stopped a driver who had been deprived of driving rights and another whose vehicle had no registration plates. A third driver had not renewed their driving licence.
