Puffin chick found wandering in Vesturbær

mbl.is reports that a puffin chick was found at the corner of Fornhagi and Hjarðarhagi in the Vesturbær district on Wednesday evening.

A post on the Vesturbærinn Facebook page said the chick would be released into the sea in daylight on Thursday.

“There may be more helpless little creatures wandering around Vesturbær, so please keep your eyes open,” the post said.
