Renowned street artist Banksy has unveiled three new pieces this week, according to BBC reports. The latest artwork appeared on a bridge in London’s Brick Lane on Wednesday, depicting three monkeys swinging along the side of the structure.

Originating from Bristol, Banksy shares updates on his artwork through Instagram, confirming the authenticity of each piece. The monkey mural is the third unveiling this week, with a notable theme of animals running through all the works. On Monday, Banksy posted an image of another painting featuring a goat balancing on a ledge. The following day, he showcased a piece depicting two elephants reaching toward each other through closed windows.

These artworks are located in various areas across London. The balancing goat can be found in the Richmond neighborhood, while the elephants are situated in Chelsea.

James Peak, the host of a radio program about Banksy’s life titled “The Banksy Story,” speculated that Banksy may be kickstarting a campaign involving animal motifs throughout London. “No one knows where he will appear next. This is exciting for Banksy fans and is a fantastic development for London in August,” Peak shared with BBC.

While Banksy’s Instagram posts do not divulge the meanings behind the artworks or provide commentary, he is known for his socially charged pieces, prompting a range of interpretations online. “I don’t know what they mean, but I do know everyone here is talking about them,” Peak noted.

Banksy remains one of the most famous street artists globally, with his work exhibited worldwide, including in Finland. Despite his immense popularity, he has managed to keep his identity hidden.
