Three remain in custody over Kársnes homicide

Three people remain in custody in connection with a homicide case in Kársnes, Kópavogur, where a Polish man in his fifties died from his injuries in hospital on August 9, mbl.is reports.

The custody order for an Icelandic man was extended on Monday, and he will remain detained until Friday. This was confirmed to mbl.is by Elín Agnes Eide Kristínardóttir, chief superintendent of the Central Investigation Department of the Capital Region Police.

Two other men connected to the case are also in custody, one in Poland and the other in Spain. A fourth man who had been remanded in custody was released on August 21.
