Scattered showers to increase across Iceland this evening

Scattered showers are expected across Iceland on Wednesday, with precipitation becoming heavier in the evening, mbl.is reports.

Winds will be variable at 3 to 8 metres per second, with somewhat stronger northerly winds in the westernmost parts of the Westfjords during the day. Skies will be partly cloudy, and temperatures will generally range from 8 to 16C.

On Thursday, winds will be light from the north or variable. Rain or showers are expected in many areas, easing after noon, while conditions will clear in the southwest. Temperatures will range from 7 to 14C, with the mildest weather in the south.
