Katrín Jakobsdóttir to speak at anti-EU rally

Former Prime Minister and Left-Green Movement leader Katrín Jakobsdóttir will be among the speakers at a meeting organised by Áfram Ísland on Thursday, mbl.is reports.

The meeting will take place at Austurvöllur from 5 to 6 p.m. on August 27. According to an announcement, it will be held under the banner of solidarity and belief in a future for Iceland that is best secured outside the European Union.

Auður Eir Vilhjálmsdóttir, Sigríður María Egilsdóttir and Áslaug Arna Sigurbjörnsdóttir will also address the meeting.
