Police at the Hverfisgata station also responded to a traffic accident in which an electric scooter was driven into two cars. The rider was under the influence of alcohol and was released after a blood sample was taken.

Another person was arrested for refusing repeated police orders to leave the station courtyard on Hverfisgata. The person was held in a cell while the case was investigated.

Police received two reports of shoplifting. Officers took a statement from one suspect, while the other fled and was not found.

Police in Kópavogur and Breiðholt received a report that someone had been threatened with a knife at a bus stop. The person who reported the incident managed to run away. When police arrived, the suspected perpetrator had probably boarded a bus and was not found.
